New Book: Meditating Presence         

We are pleased to announce a new book Mediating Presence: Essays on Christ and Scripture, Church, Ministry and Mission by John E. Colwell.

Mediating Presence brings together two decades of specialized essays by Baptist theologian John E. Colwell, examining how divine presence is dynamically mediated through Christ, Scripture, the sacraments, and the life of the church. Structured around Christ and Scripture, Church, and Ministry and Mission, this comprehensive volume offers a critical yet constructive account of Baptist ecclesiology rooted in historic catholicity.

John is a Baptist minister, having served in Essex, London and Devon. He was Tutor in Christian Doctrine and Ethics at Spurgeon's College, between 1994-2009.

This is the second book of essays by a Baptist theologian, joining Contributions and Struggles by Brian Haymes.
